Beer Moon: Brewery #4 Cascade Lakes

Won't lie. Kind of found this one by accident. Leaving Deschutes, this brew pub was located at our nearest U-Turn to head back to town. Whoa! Let's try this one! I said, and we pulled on in. Why not!

Cascade Lakes was cute. Seems lodge-like. Probably gets a lot of post-snowboard/ski business in the winter. One of the best parts was our bartender. He was great. Told us a lot about the beer, but also told us about the Bend Beer Tour. If you hit up all the breweries in Bend, get a stamp from each one, then you can take it to the Chamber of Commerce and get a fold up pint cup. So, I downloaded the Bend Brewery iPhone ap...who knew? and off we went to try to get them all.

Here we had full pints, so we only tried two beers. I had the Monkey Face Porter (because the name was great, but it was totally good) and Ryan had the Centennial IPA.
